No need for any gas certificates in the UK.

Anything that has wheels or moves doesn't need it, so Motorhome, Caravan, Canal Boat etc.

Always, of course, a competent person should be working on it.

I reckon the fact that he passed himself off as a qualified gas technician is the main issue. The fact that he was working on a campervan is incidental.

"fact that he passed himself off as a qualified gas technician is the main issue"
I think more importantly that the Gobsh1t left an open pipe into the van,😱
so they have used a sledge to crack a nut, and rightly so.

But the strange thing is.
"pleaded guilty to four offences pursuant to the Electricity Regulation Act 1999." 🤔

Gas/ electricity, surly there is a difference.
One Feed trough a pipe, the other trough a wire no crossover.?

I have heard that you need a RGI person if you changing your gas hob in your kitchen, which is just a threaded pipe connector?
