Just in case anyone has the same problem connecting to victron when they get a new phone...I had no problems connecting to my dc to dc charger and my mppt charger on my old phone which was a samsung S22+ but got the Samsung s24+ recently which wouldn't connect whatsoever...my Bluetooth would see the devices and would try to connect but fail everytime when the connection got to 100%....
I uninstalled and reinstalled the victron app,cleared cache and data in Bluetooth settings and the victron app,then cleared all Bluetooth devices from the phone and still it wouldn't work...and then the fix
I put the phone into safe mode which you get from long pressing the power on/off button...this turns off all the apps installed on the phone, then I was able to connect to the victron devices with Bluetooth and save them in bluetooth, happy days...I restarted the phone so as to open the victron app and all is good now....one of the apps on my phone must have been stopping me connecting to the victron devices.
