Howdy folks, hope you're keeping well. Our search continues, but in the meantime we've been getting very familiar with our damp meter... https://hitechniques.ie/moistu…3_RXQoivoM

Has anyone else used this? We use the index function.. and it hasn't steered us wrong yet, but a van we checked in the summer, and was 90% dry in the roof, is now damp throughout!! It's a bit hard to believe... However the roof was chequered plated at the back end at some stage and it's evident the seals around that are gone, but even the over cab area is damp throughout. Trying to figure out if it could possibly be the meter is basing on relative damp comparing from one area to the next... But the walls are fine! Have videos but can't upload yet, will get them up later if they might be useful! Thanks in advance!

Sorry, re reading that even I don't know what it means. The question is - given the breathability of materials, how much moisture would be reasonable to expect in any motorhome roof, in the winter?
