Mobile Data

Has anyone got any knowledge of data deals for roaming in mainland Europe? I used to use an IQ data sim in my MiFi which gave 100Gb for £25 but they have now been brought back into line by their suppliers so the current deal is 100Gb for £75 !

I assume from the £ in your post that you are based in the UK or NI.
Here in the RoI Vodafone have an unlimited data plan which also applies when travelling anywhere in the EU, the UK & NI. That's what we use, using the phone with the Mobile Hotspot turned on.
Perhaps Vodafone UK or some other provider have a similar plan available.

60GB unlimited 🤔
What's the 60GB about if the data is supposed to be unlimited. Is it the calls are unlimited

https://www.lobster.es/pay-as-you-go-plans/

I find Lobster very good plans with 50 - 150 gBit and you just park the sim when you leave Spain and unpark it when you return to Spain. The helpline and website are all in English as well.

As said, Vodafone IRL have a plan with unlimited data no matter where you are in Europe. AFAIK they are unique in that.

When you are roaming abroad and find you are in a weak signal area, you can switch to another mobile provider who have a stronger signal. For example, if you are with Three in Ireland, you can switch to Vodafone in Spain to get a better signal.
If you are with Vodafone in Ireland you can switch to Bouygues Telecom in France to get a better signal. I have only given some examples.
You are not tied to the Irish mobile provider when roaming abroad.
When roaming, Just go into your phone settings and manually select the mobile operator that provides the best local signal to the area you are in. There are no extra charges for doing this.
I do this all the time when abroad to get a signal strong enough to tether TV from
