Van vibrates when engine under load

Recently there has been quite a severe shake in the van when engine is under load in 4th,5th and 6th gears. it may also happen in other gears but I haven't noticed it. It feels like a wheel out of balance , and thats what I orginally thought it was, but this trip I've noticed that it's not happening at a certain speed, but is more linked with lower revs and acceleration through gears when I'm going up hills and the engine requires more throttle, or dropping gears. The van is a 2018 2.3 150 hp Ducato. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've had something similar on 2003 2.8 JTD. It happened at 2000 revs and 4th gear and under load. I posted on here and guys told me to check various joints and they were all ok. I read somewhere that it could be a driveshaft out of kilter and changed the long one, no change. I never got around to change the other one but I havnt noticed it vibrating on this trip. I changed the tyres within the last year that might have done it.

It's the driveshaft bearings. I had it on a Nissan inter star. First I got the tracking and wheels balanced that did not fix it. Took it to the garage and was told it was drive shaft bearing.

Did changing the drive shaft bearing fix the problem?

Besides the propshaft carrier bearing, have a good look at the engine and gearbox mounts, also all the exhaust brackets, rubbers and heat shields in case it is hitting the under body when the engine shifts with the torque effect.

Realised that when I was taking the van to be serviced or gettng the hab check done, there was little or no vibration. The only difference was that the boot/garage was empty and there were no bikes on the back. So this trip I moved all the heavy stuff low down and as close to the back axle as possible. The was a marked reduction in vibration, in fact almost none. Has anyone else found the position of the load caused problems.

I've still got the problem but it only appears sometimes. Always when accelerating The van is loaded to the gills most of the time. I renewed all the tyres and thought that helped a bit. I've just accepted it

Weight distribution across the axles and keeping all the weight to the lowest center of gravity, will help also condition of the tyres, although wheels may be balanced, they still can be over pressurised, have hard or lumpy spot on the sidewall edges, which come into contact when loaded,
I would suggest most motorhomes would fail the anual test if they were sent in with the normal running load.
