Plans have been lodged with Wexford County Council for a motorhome park in New Ross, this is separate from the one Wexford CC are going to build. The proposed park is on the Waterford side of the bridge between the greenway and the river on an existing brownfield site with good access. It will be interesting to see if they try and pull a fast one like the begrudgers in Kilmore Quay and turn it into a campsite by putting in showers etc in the existing buildings. :-/

Looking at the specifications for the development it certainly is a big overkill for a motorhome park.
Definitely looks like the developers are future proofing to change use to a regular campsite.
As has proven by Camping-car Parks and other operators a full function motorhome park doesn't need a sanitation block or reception area, just designated parking bays, a service bay, ehu's and automated card (credit or membership) based entry and exit.

The buildings shown on the plans are already in place, will they be converted once they get permission ? :-/ :-/
