The clue is in the name ‘Caravan Park’. They just don’t get the difference between touring in a caravan compared to a Motorhome.

Campsite owners are renowned for wanting the whole of the pie for a pitch normally beyond walking distance to any amenities

Nice pitch, ehu, showers, covered & heated pool, beach and restaurants 50m away. All for €20 p/n

The only drawback, it's in Saint-Jean-de- Luz, France

Which site is that? It looks as nice site. I was in St Jean de Luz in June.

The guy they interviewed is originally from NI. We stayed there last year when we done the NC500. I got talking to him. He wasn't a fan of motorhomes. He was talking about adding an extra £5 for one night only because he felt that one nighters were only doing so to empty & refill & get rid of rubbish.

It's the same one we stayed in. Lovely site. Beach just out across the road. Great value with ACSI at €17 plus local tax

That's not a drawback, that's a massive win, win .... greatest reason to go abroad.

Enjoy your stay.
