We are touring northern Spain in our camper. We had pulled into a campsite when d clutch wouldn’t work. Our fiat ducato clutch fluid pipe has lost a joiner. Local garage too busy to call out. 🙄
Anyone know how long it takes for breakdown assist to get back to you after logging the call.

AXA have contacted us to say they will try to contact a local garage in the morning to take the camper in for repair so all we can do is wait and see what happens.

We are still waiting on a garage to repair the camper. We have had to phone AXA a good few times each day to find out what is happening. We tried the local garages but they are too busy. I wouldn’t mind but the campsite we are in is too far from everything to walk. It was supposed to be a one night stopover. 🙄

Yeah we were able to hire a car today. A mechanic called out and has ordered a part for us. Not sure when it will be delivered but he will fit it for us. At least we can travel a bit further.

This is from their policy .
Option 2: the cost of hiring another car
while your vehicle is being repaired.
We will pay up to £70 a day and £750 in
total, as long as you are able to meet
the conditions of the hire-car company
