Woodies have the Weber Q2000 available at €249 right now which would be an excellent price for this BBQ, but Weber are also offering cashback of €145 on that same model, promoted through Woodies and other retailers, which would round it down to €104 which is insanely good value.

https://www.woodies.ie/weber-q…um-1101969

Can be used on the stand or as a tabletop unit

At 21kg not too heavy for the motorhome, must see what the pack size looks like , wounder if they will give the Thursday night OAP discount as well. :D

Unless you rely want one to work from a canister, the Q2000 is lighter and has a box size of 83cm x 47cm x 42cm compared to 94.5 x 110.8 x 58.4 you might have to do a bit of assembly on site ,but a lot less garage space , plus if you didn't already have a BBQ outlet, you would have €425 to have one fitted and a relay relay long hose :-/

I assembled mine earlier, was thinking I'd be leaving the stand at home and using it table top but the stand assembles and disassembles in seconds. Just need to get a regular propane fitting for the hose instead of the Patio Gas clip.

Is it very bulky without the stand and the sides folded in, what sort of size is it ?

Was going to upload a picture of it on a kitchen worktop but it seems I'm limited to files of 20kb. It's tidy folded up but not small. If it needs to stack on top of something when you're on the road, removing the cooking grates should reduce the weight very significantly, if you wanted to sit it on top of a plastic tub or something.
I should have the screw on 37mb propane regulator later in the week to fire it up.
I've been keeping an eye on these in end of season sales over the years, I was tempted at €250 but with the cashback, I just grabbed one.

I’ve had a Q2000 as the family BBQ for about 5 years. Love it. I see Hardy’s in Comber are promoting the same cash back deal, as well as £200 cashback on selected Spirit grills. Might be time to upgrade and move the Q2000 to the van. 🤔

Got one yesterday, they didn't give the OAP Thursday Discount , >_< bummer. Did the application for the refund this morning, don't really need it, but might be a good house warming gift, for the new house going up, in our front garden.

Bought the 2 burner Spirit for the garden and the Q2000 is now cleaned and ready for the van. Just didn’t realise how corroded the stand was. It’s now in pieces ready for sanding. 😩

Happy to help! Been using ours every day on our current trip, very happy with it.
The stand feels a bit flimsy but the little bit of flex allows it to have all four legs on the ground on slightly uneven ground, a rigid frame would rock, you'd need a stack of bar mats.

Fit an inexpensive stainless dial thermometer in the lid for less than a fiver from TEMU with free shipping and you know when you are up to correct grilling / searing temperature. Also, when you want to maintain a lower temperature. Takes all the guesswork away.
