They wanted to know why I didn't complete the order, so I told them I wasn't prepared to deal with a company who would not support their customers outside the UK. This was the answer.
Believe me I understand your frustration.
Pre the world export agreements our foreign sales accounted for 0.35% of
our sales.
Unfortunately it is not cost effective for us to tax account for so few
sales, and that is why we sell some of our books via EBAY, who charge us
13.5% seller fees.
Ebay then charges you export/import duties and delivery costs.
It is a mad world and I fell that I don't have the energy/ability to put
it right.
( I have no idea what it means, but if they won't ship how could they have forigan sales?
)
