Has anyone brought an external windscreen cover from a company in Germany called Van comfort / Kantop or had any dealings with them. I am looking for one for an A class Laika motorhome finding it difficult to source one outside of the UK.
Thanks Seamus.

I know you are looking outside the UK,
I have you tried polar, give them your make and Model., they quote in Euro so you shouldn't have the usual problem with shipping.

Do you not have windscreen breakage cover in your insurance.

I recently bought a set in silverscreens for a burstner ducato panelvan, ( i know they cant ship outside UK)

They are pricey but the quality and fit is flawless

I will drop polartec an email and see if they have them available. I had an original silverscreen on my previous van absolutely brilliant for killing condensation in cold weather and keeping out heat in hot weather. Unfortunately apart from not dealing here in the South they don't make once offs anymore.

I have used camperbros recently and found them excellent to deal with, product arrived quickly and as described. Highly recommend.

Agree the external windscreen covers are great for preventing condensation and keeping heat in in Winter and out in summer.
When we had A-class Burstner and we were in UK we arrived at the place early one morning and had them measured and fitted while we waited, (not sure if actually Silverscreen or another name) we even went in to watch them being made, and they were much better quality.
Our current Burstner came with the internal concertina type (name??) but we also bought a standard external but at this stage it is held together with duct tape.
Last week we ordered online from Silverscreen, we only had to quote year, make and modelled of MH. It has been delivered to a friend’s address in NI as we are ROI.

If you don't mind sharing, what was the cost including shipping, our Rapido A Class would be similar to your Burstner A Class.

Our last Burstner was A-class with much larger windscreen, and side windows in cab. We went to the place that made them, they made a bag to hold it. somewhere in West Yorkshire

Our current MH is a Burstner Harmony Lyseo, standard Ducato cab, so windscreen and side cab windows are much smaller.
The new one is Silverscreen

Think the firm in Yorkshire you are referring to is Taylor Made. We ordered on the telephone just quoting the van year and model for our coachbuilt but I saw Youtubers visit the factory to get one made including fitments to the van for attaching it to. Must say we found them very good to deal with.
