There's a single hob induction plate for sale in Lidl. Are these hobs safe when used with electric hook up ? Or are the kind of device which blows the fuses in a MH ?

Induction hobs are usually low watts and should be ok unless you have multiple devices on the go.

you can use them up to power level number 5 (1000 watt) and not trip out the electric on your pitch.6 amp. If you have 14 amp ehu you can use it at power 10 (2ooo watt)

If its the one for sale in Lidl last Thursday, it is rated at 2000W or 2kW when it's used at maximum setting. This equates to approx 8 amp draw @ 230 Volts.
You will need at least a 10A supply feeding the hook up if you want to use it at max., otherwise it will trip the supply circuit breaker.
If you are running your fridge on 230V, and maybe topping up the charge on your leisure batteries while using the hob, then even a 10A hook up supply may not be enough

I have one and they work great. They have several settings from 400w up. There is a timer on it as well. You just need pots and pans that work on induction.
