I travel through Belgium regularly and have never seen a toll road or toll booth ,the trucks have to be fitted with on board units that track their movements so no worries for us .

Hey rebbyvid is Germany the same, no tolls

The somewhat common practice of Continental motorhomes towing a small trailer is in part to avoid HGV tolls.
A 3,500kg GVW motorhome has many practical benefits.

  • An EU Category 01 trailer, one not exceeding 750kg MAM (GVW) can be towed behind on a simple B Category Licence, giving an effective overall GVW of 4,250kg.

  • In some countries, car speed limits apply to vehicles towing a Category 01 trailer

  • Car vignettes and toll rates apply.

  • The Light Goods or Car roadworthiness test applies.

  • Because only a car licence is necessary none of the medical tests related to keeping a C or C1 licence apply.

And, if you can't reverse a trailer one of these is the solution [youtube]

As far as i know yes it works the same as Belgium i.e over 7.5 tons and they have to have an on board unit fitted,
There are a couple of tunnels in the north that charge but that's all.
i have never seen a toll road although i tend to travel down/up the rivers Rhine or Mosel but this Sept i have a one way ticket booked from Harwich / Hook of Holland so will be doing a bit of Holland and who knows where in Germany.
I do have a Fulli toll tag and that covers France ,Spain,Portugal and Italy which worked well in France last year.
