Winter hook up

As this place seems to be up and running again I 'll continue my speciality of asking dumb questions !
As the Dethleff is parked on my property in rural Waterford with hook up, is it ok to plug in a small oil filled electric heater ? Water drained etc.
Seems logical to be ok but MH's are a world onto themselves.

Yes, a 5/600 watt one should do the job

I use a 500w heater, I set the thermostat quite low so it only comes on if the temperature drops to about 6°c.
I also use a small dehumidifier which I got at Lidl Click . Here's an alternative currently available from Amazon Click it's surprising how much water they collect in wet/damp weather. Maybe it's trying to dehumidify the whole neighbourhood but at least it's keeping the the damp out of the motorhome, we leave all the cushions and bedding etc in situ and there is never any hint of dampness.

This is what I use, from Lidl. On the frost or low setting, then turn it up a bit if anyone is using it, I leave all the blinds down and the silversreen on, if it's going to be unused for a while, the bedding over the front seats, rear bed propped up, front bed down a bit, and All drawers and doors open, including the fridge / freezer.

That's exactly what I'm using. Exactly.

I've got the Lidl one but since there's some coming and going over Xmas I'll only start when the doors shut later on.
