You know from the first conversation I had 5 years ago, with what I can only describe as a visionary. ( topic.php?p=135583 )
In that time they have gone from parking in a sloping field, to what has to be the Best Motorhome Aire in the country, ( on par with any found in France). They are a credit to the Town, County, and put to shame most of the rest of the country.
Hopefully the Town itself, will get the finger out, and do something with the vacant buildings.

Currently at the Hub. Great set up and good walks with or without a dog. They are to be commended for what they have provided.

Done,
I didn't notice "submit" on ipad but did it on phone.
We love the Hub and go several times a year, always something NEW.
Last time new outdoor covered seated area, upper stage level and swop library, new toilet cassette disposal.
Not surprised it is popular.

Done.

Location for the first Craic meet we attended. March 2020, the weekend before the first Covid lockdown.
There were no hardstands, just the tarmac road to the round turnaround space where the coffee trailer is now.
Amazing what they have achieved in such a short time, they really shown what can be done with a bit of vision and determination.

A super initiative that benifits everyone. Other towns and villages with motorhome parking areas please take note

Clonmel seem to be trying something similar to Cobh , I hope it gets supported by MH community, it'll help get more towns involved which is what we're looking for

We went up to Clonmel to try out the new Aire last weekend. Very impressed. Good pump and dump facilities and clear notice about what you can and can't do. Great Thai restaurant and Indian as well. Go through the arch heading out of the main street and you'll see a veg shop on your left, great selection and reasonable prices. We left about €160 in the town and we'll be back to spend more. Well done Clonmel.

Can you confirm their price structure? Is ehu available? I do wonder about shared use car parks, were car users using the Carpark late at night, early in the morning?
I like the idea of a Thai and Indian restaurant being close by.

At the moment there is no separate charge for MH parking, pay the standard car parking charge €3.50 for full day 8:30 to 6:30. No charge for Sundays. Cars tend to stay at the upper end of the carpark, we weren't aware of any late night or early morning activity.
Indian restaurant. https://www.google.ie/maps/@52…?entry=ttu
Thai restaurant where Costa used to be. https://www.google.ie/maps/@52…?entry=ttu

As you can see on the sign above there appears to be a separate fee for MH parking but it's not being charged yet.

Hose on the left is for fresh water, grey water is the drain in the cement square, there is a second fresh water hose to the right out of picture. The pay machine in the photo is not working so use one of the other ones.
