The overnight motorhome park up at Glenveagh National park in Donegal has been withdrawn and overnight stays in the car park are no longer permitted.

This action has been implemented because the sewer system was completely blocked with wet wipes, with kitchen roll and other products being disposed of through the sewage system resulting in a large cost to have it rectified.

Inconsiderate assholes like this wreck it for everyone, I really despair in human stupidly, in their arrogance and their absolute disregard for their actions.

I’ve emailed the app to remove the location 😟

Wetwipes should be banned, and the manufacturers be charged with the cost of removing the from sewer system's
That aside, unfortunately Gobshits cannot be flushed away either?

Why would people be putting wet wipes in the toilet in the first place.
If something other than regular dry toilet tissue is required there is a specific product alternative available called flushable moist toilet tissue.

I've no idea Colin.
The proliferation of new people who got into motor homing since and after covid has probably something to do with it.
'All the gear, no idea'.
In a few years they'll all be gone while the folk who were always there have to deal with their actions.
Sad really.

Dave, you can be as sure as hell he didn’t bag them and bin them. If there was a sluice they’ will have been put down it.

Terrible shame... one of my favourite stop overs. Great walk to the castle and coffee shop, and for a few euros a bus back to the car park. Another good walk around the hill.

A ranger once told me the reason was that people were setting their cassette tops on the edge and loosing them down the drain.
