I saw someone using inflatable levellers on site yesterday. I had not seen these before. Basically they are like a flat mat you drove onto then you use a tyre inflater to get them to the right level. They are built to lift 12 tonnes each.

I didn’t ask how much they cost, the owners were German. I thought they would be good for storage. And as the driver can do each side or back to front from outside it would be easier to be more precise than driving onto chocks.

I saw those at the Dusseldorff show a few years ago and they were lifting fairly heavy vehicles with them

50 years ago, we had a version in the tyre bay, they were great for lifting, individual wheels, or a side, especially on the flat bed ramp, like two small H/D inner tubes, mounted on an aluminium base and top.

Would the not leave the M/H to sway in the wind, sitting on a air bag?
