Heres a link to my google maps listing the aires i stopped at , click on the aire in the side bar for a few pics and a comment.
also a link to caramaps which is best viewed on a tablet or computer as a phone doesn't bring all the reviews up but does list the aires. Also you can view the aires with reviews on https://app.motorhomeparkinglocations.com/home

just over 7 weeks., most places we only stopped a day and tried to limit the driving to 100k a day. So we would be away by 10 and parked up by lunchtime and then explore the area in the afternoon /early evening

That's a grand tour alright...!
We're about to embark on a four week trip via Cherbourg, Tours, Montpellier, Palavas, Bordeaux, Saintes finally (again) the war beaches and home. We'll do a few 4/5 hour driving days with a mix of Aires and, sites. We're so looking forward to a bit of heat and dry air....

Dublin mate, Irish ferries, €1200'ish return, mh over 3m tall, trailer under 4m, 3 adults Inc. window cabin for 3. Tried Rosslare a few times, before and after the good road was built, but, for us it's just so easy to go via Dublin.
Just need more lpg points en route... No problem in France, but getting a little scarce over here sometimes, no bother really, just need to plan a bit.
