Hi, If you are driving past or live near the Port of Larne Co. Antrim you can check the weight of your motorhome /camper at the DRD Weigh bridge; just off the dual carrigeway near ASDA ,it is open all the time ,drive onto the plate, it weighs the FRONT axle the numbers come up on the digital read out. REAR axle and then the TOTAL of the all up weight. I have used it twice now the weight of my van is 2600kg, it is nice to know this information.

Sensible move,

There are several of these round the provence. We have used the one at Loughbrickland and the one at Toome. Dead easy to use. The link to the site is,

NOTE they are not all unmanned.
