40 Years

This month 40 years ago we were sitting in a campsite just South of Athens having driven from Cherbourg in a 1.6 VW T2, our very first adventure. Looking back things have changed so much, the vans with all the luxuries and technology. The restrictions on motorhomes and the physical change of the areas we visited. I look back with so many memories gained in the 'van' and realise how lucky I am to have experienced so much in a box on wheels.

You beat me by one year.
Caravan from 1984 to 1987 then only motorhomes.
Four for a total of 350,000+ kilometers.
From Capo Passero to Slettnes (real continental North Cape) and from Cabo da Roca to the Danube Delta.
Of course not forgetting Land's End, John O'Groats, Mizen Head and Malin Head.

I think you would have to have done it in the same Van for it to be a Valid anniversary
