Data only SIM for France/EU

Hi all...has anyone used a data only SIM in EU recently that was NOT contract, NOT bound by 12GB useage cap?...if so what was your experience. There are some online but I was hoping for first hand experience. My 'unlimited' wifi SIM I use in Ireland is n good as it is capped to 12GB.

Has anyone bough one in a Frence outlet for example that has worked well for them in France and maybe further afiekd...

Haven’t bought one for European use,
But
Vodafone Spain do a sim that is €20 p/m that you can pay monthly for the time you are in Spain and not pay for the months you are not there. It has a data cap of 15GB outside Spain.

It is true, it's the package both Mrs and I have.
Being unlimited we've streamed video, Netflix, YouTube etc. plus WhatsApp and MS Teams all over Europe.
Subject to a decent 4G connection running at at least 4Mbps speed, the package is limited to 10Mbps
If you need faster there's the Red Unlimited Max deal which has no restrictions on the download speed

hi baguette, the small print on this says 25GB useage cap for europe roaming and £6.65 per day plus £3.10 per GB on useage. I ebven called into a vodafone shop today in NI and they told me the same. Did you get yours from Vodafone.ie then which might be different arrangement?

Yep, ours is Vodafone in the RoI. Definitely no limit on the data. The only limit is on the speed which is 10Mbps.
We stream lots of video, like Netflix and orher stuff and our monthly bill has never had any additional charges.

The 30GB limit is for PAYG customers, for bill pay customers the data is unlimited

I think ill just buy a French 'Free Mobile data SIM' for 30euro in the Bouyges Telecom shop in calais and then get a TIM Tourist sim for Italy, 50GB for 15 euro. . No contracts and no hassle.
