Motorhome GRP panel scratches and crack repair

Hi all,

I had a run in with a road sign on a very narrow street with compliments of Google maps recently 😐...I was about a foot clear of it but there was a rain water gulley beside it and when my back wheel went into the gully the top of the van leaned right over and hit the sign..I was gutted to say the least...The part of the motorhome that hit the road sign was the top drivers side marker light...the marker light was pulled off and as that moved backwards it caused a slight craic in the GRP panel about half an inch long...luckily the scratches around it are not bad but one of them I can feel with my nail....I'm just wondering is it an easy fix and or is there someone in the kildare/Dublin/wicklow region that you would recommend to fix it or is it a DIY job as its not very bad...obviously I'd need filler and the same colour of the grp panel...thanks in advance.

Thanks for the recommendations sprinter👍

I got the RAL number off the manufacturer...do you know if its a job most crash repair lads would do or is it someone that specialises in fibreglass.

You need someone with good experience of working with fibreglass to be sure of a good job.
Don't forget people who do boat repairs are also an option.

I don't know the answer, you would need to talk to them,
The first is a panel shop, they did work on my last Sprinter van.
The other I think, only do motorhomes. They fitted an Awning and did skirt and bumper repairs on my Daughter mororhome.
