Anyone on here have a Rapido 896f or similar with a towbar fitted?

I've just checked my plate & it states zero towing capacity

Chassis ends just behind the back wheels, but I have seen many similar vans with towbars fitted

You have to get a specially made frame that goes from the rear of the original chassis.

I have just found out that my Rapido vin plate states 0000 towing weight.
I'm on to Thompsons who are going to speak to Rapido to see what can be done 🙄

In truth I'm not holding my breath

Quite a few haven't either
Pain in the hole.
Thompsons said David Murphy towbars does all theirs.
David Murphy says, yes, but only as bike carriers on vans like ours, but they are sure that many tow a trailer too.
They could only do as a towing towbar if approved by Rapido.
Stupid really, as 2 or 3 bikes could weigh more than the nose weight of a trailer.
The whole system is ridiculous
Hopefully Rapido will sort it out.
They must have been through this before

What year/model is it.
The Certificate of Conformity for my 2005 963F says maximum braked trailer 1650kg, so it's obviously homologated to take a towbar.
It's unusual yours isn't
