A freind of mine has just bought this and I have to say I think its a fantastic piece of kit which would suit someone who doesnt have or want to fit a satellite system to their van.

John, I was just looking at these last night as they are advertised in the MCC 2013 Magazine. They look handy, must have a look at a price though.

This was bought from Simon at Leisure Tech, and it seems a lot cheaper than having a system fitted to the MH.

What is the digital unit attached to the back of the dish? Guessing its a sat finder?

thats the sat finder and once it has locked on you then remove it from the dish unit.

I know what my freind paid but I dont know if Simon did him a special deal or not so I would rather not say on here, but its considerably cheaper than having a system fitted onto a MH, but a lot more expensive than the portable systems you get in Lidl/Aldi

I have just spoken to Simon about this system

They are self seeking which eliminates the need for a compass, sat finder (or faulty app Ally. LOL)

RRP is £999 Simon has some in stock at the moment which he will do for £950.
A few hundred cheaper than the dome I bought.

I thinkmimwould prefer the dome to be honest. Simon fitted one for me about 2 years ago and I'm pleased with it.

Our dome has been great. Fitted by Simon at LTS also.
We did have a software issue which he fixed.

maplins were selling a similar sized dish ( 53 cm ) without the sat finder , LNB or sat box for e 55 which included a hard case i dont know if they still have them though

Just had a 40cm dome (automatic) from Roadpro fitted on the van prices from £1049 check there website.

Delivery to NI small charge.
