I must be getting old...but cleaning the van roof today was a proper pain in the arse....a winter worth of grime and algae took a lot of persuasion, especially when nobody would even know it was cleaned!....well at least ill get an additional 0.15W out of the solar...lol

I just found out that K'archer have an extension and brush for their cleaner so I'm launching a raid on the piggy bank this week. Should be able to clean the roof without tramping all over it is the plan.

I have always envied and admired those who could get up on their roof and walk about to clean it, I would break mine as I am not light enough, add to that if its slippy I am sure to fall. No matter how hard I try I am never able to get the roof clean.

That would be even better, the drone, won't be able to spot you, when you're wild camping, sure you'd be able to fly tip to your harts content 😉😁

I built a shelter over mine about 4 years ago. Less to stop the roof going green but rather to stop the starlings machine gunning it just after I cleaned it ..

Be a little careful with wet & forget, it contains quite a high concentration of ammonia chloride.
Can cause damage to certain composites & paintwork. If using rinse off well.

Autoglym Polar Wash is less likely to leave streaks as it runs off the roof. Halfords have all the Autoglym products .
