Hi Jack, there's a guy trades on eBay under the name "SOLTYR". He repairs PCB's for Truma heaters and also trades in parts for a range of others. I have bought used Truma parts from him in the past and found him to be both helpful and reliable.
Just type the above name into the Search Box on eBay and it will get him for you. Good Hunting!

What parts are you needing Jack?
I have bits and pieces for them.
Someone on the forum got the main motor out of it a while ago so that isn’t there, but I may have other bits you may need.

Unfortunately the source of my trauma has fallen through so I’m back to the drawing board. It’s the electric heater and boiler that’s not working on mine. My thinking was if I got another one I would have it for parts as Trauma is not making parts available any more. So if anyone has what I need for the electric side it would be appreciated.

Jack,
If it’s the heating element I may be able to assist.
Is yours the type with the wrap around heating element (red one held by 4 springs) or the newer solid element type? If it’s the former (red one) I definitely have one, tested and working.

Jack,
it’s not viewable without removing the cover.
It’s the element for heating the water on electric.
Also, it may not be that at all that is wrong Jack, I only suggested it because I would have the older type one if yours was faulty.

John, I was talking to Tristan and he said it’s unlikely the element would go. It’s more likely to be some board or other according to him.

Yes, the board does give grief. They’re repairable, but there is usually a root cause to make the board ‘blow’…. Usually a mosfet goes on them when the motors short out (brushes or stator).
I can give you details where the boards can be repaired if required.

Yes please, can you give us the details. I have a board that was replaced because it developed a fault that was causing the gas solenoid valve to shut as soon as it opened.
The replacement cost about €400 and I've been told they are no longer available (obsolete). It would be great to get the faulty one fixed and have it as a spare.

I have repaired the PCB’s, but only during the repair of the heaters, quite a few were the FET’s blown, but to reiterate… if the FET’s are blown there is another issue with the heater (a short or heavy load, usually motors) which causes the problems.

These guys offer a board testing service.

Jon

I know this is off topic but do you have the lid of the boiler? As I think it is the same as the one for a c3402 mine is missing & unavailable from any supplier

I would need to check Ron, I know I dumped a lot of bits that I believed would never be needed.
I'll get back to you Monday. (Drop me a message, I haven't got your phone number)
