Scam site I'd say, every single one of those vans are at a different place, plus I've never heard of them: https://rubaneleisure.co.uk/

That is a scam for sure, prices totally wrong and they have more motorhomes for sale than there are in all of Northern Ireland.
They also have trailers for sale, yet we have never heard of them.

The company checks out at companies house, been in existence since 2013.
Directors named.
Accounts filed & up to date.

But that really means nothing, a fake website is an easy thing to do and a Skype number is easy and emulates a real phone number.

With any big investment such as a Motorhome the caveat is NEVER part with a penny until YOU SEE the Motorhome, examine it and are completely happy with the vendor. Then and only then you make the decision if all is OK to proceed.

It’s strange than none of us, especially those in the trade have never heard nor had any dealings with them.

Caveat Emptor.

I love the Eco friendliness on all the vans and trailers, they blend in so well with the colour of the grass. Problem is how would your be able to find where you parked it.

I'm in no way defending the company but only use Google street view as a guide, they often get the locations for businesses in the wrong location which will lead to street view being wrong also

My son saw this site and messaged them, the reply was what I was expecting. "We don't actually hold the stock of motorhomes or caravans at our premises, but if you send us the money we will deliver it with in 5 working days ".

Definitely a scam website I received an email informing me that all their motorhomes are now based in Germany due to Brexit in order to cater for the European market.
Also for an extra fee they will re-register the motorhome in your name look after the VRT payment at the open market price and give you 6 months free motor tax.
How could you Go wrong 🙈
I am still waiting for their answer to my response regarding.

Rubane Leisure Info.

I can see you have had a lot of replies regarding the Rubane Leisure website, but I can give my first hand knowledge. My wife and I are on the hunt for a motorhome, which is how we found (the fake) Rubane Leisure, the address they use is only three miles from our home where there is an actual Rubane Leisure, who sell static caravans and the owners name is Jackie Harris. I have known Jackie since school days, so we went to speak to him to make totally sure he didn't sell motorhomes. Jackie told us that the site that advertises the motorhomes is 100% fake, they even have the cheek to use his Companies House number, they are after punters deposits, Jackie said he has be in contact with the police and fraud people who are struggling to get the site closed. Our son work in the cyber fraud field and has had a look, he has found that the fraudsters have paid to have their identity hidden, which in my opinion makes the hosting company guilty of assisting a fraudster.

David.

David,
If you mention to Jackie to ring Nominet they can close the domain as it's a .co.uk

https://www.nominet.uk/

Also as he is registered at company house, he can tell them he owns it.

The fake Rubane Leisure appears to have been taken done (for now) but do bear in mind there is a genuine Rubane Leisure Ltd run by a real life Jackie Harris, but he trades in static caravans. I kept a conversation going with the scammer to collect as much info as possible which was then passed on to the Police Fraud department and within a few days the fake site disappeared, but be assured they will be back with a different name and address, so be alert and always make as many checks as you possibly can.
