Heading to a wedding in March at The Clarion Hotel Carrickfergus, we asked if we could park the Motorhome.

REPLY: You can park it but if you sleep in it we will get you moved on.

The aire at Carrick is just along the road but there are also carparks nearby (Lildl, Indian Ocean etc)





I know where the general manager of the clarion lives if you want to pay him a visit :bandit: :whistle: :lol: :lol: seeing as they were nasty to our ambassador

We stayed at jacksons at a wedding, recption said no prob 2no vans plenty room at end of carpark,next day barrier locked an wanted 20 euro to get out still cheeper than a room.Other campers were livid.

I wouldn't mind if they said there is a charge, as you say cheaper than a room!

the Clarion does those cheap wedding receptions, but make a fortune on the drinks. I was at one there a year ago and bought the kids at our table a jug of cordial.....that will be £5 please o.O o.O

You may get Julie to take a large handbag with a few hidden gems inside or as I was taught by my step daughter, book a room and then take a larger carryout to the room and keep going back and forward to recharge the glasses it also gives you somehere to crash and park the unicorn! :lol:

Went to the wedding yesterday - great day!
