ACSI 2023

ACSI debited our a/c on 9 Nov for 2023 books/CC card
Has anyone got theirs yet, ours usually comes from The Netherlands.
I don’t think we even opened 2022.
You can only buy the app when buying the books.
I think it was about €24.44including postage.

For those new to motorhoming and going abroad these books are great, but not many sites have the discount in Ireland and always maximum price, our only experience is France with excellent sites, but ACSI discount period is low season only, excludes most of July and all August.
Like here campsites do close in autumn.
Alternatively there are many more Aires on the continent.

(I edited this post to add more details.)

Great if you use it, I cancelled it last year, because the last time I used it was 2018.

Likewise.
I just pick it up when out here now, no subscription anymore.
Had the ID card too, stopped using it and cancelled too as many sites wouldn’t accept it in lieu of passport.

Camping shop will have book in stock 15th Dec so I’ll pick it up then.

ACSI 2023 in post today considerably thinner, with only 4 in Ireland.

Which four?

The 4 in Ireland are
Garretstown House in Kinsale,
Lough Ennell in Mullingar,
IOAC near Rosslare Harbour,

Thank you for this I have not got the 2023 book yet.
I did notice that some of the Spanish sites that were in ACSI are no longer part of the discount scheme. I suspect that ACSI will need to make it rates more viable for the campsites and equally important make the card available on line, a digital version. It’s a pain trying to get one in December in Spain.

They'd sent out a recent questionnaire recently looking for feedback & suggestions, you probably all got it too.
I'd think their business model is no longer as lucrative as it once was and they'll need to adopt or be consigned to history.
Fully agree with your suggestion of an online version only (app) backed up by a physical membership card & I said so on their feedback section of the survey, so maybe they'll take this on board in the future.
The cost implications of printing books and mailing costs has to be prohibitive to keeping it current in this day and age.

I will pick the 2023 card/book as I’ll get the money spent on the book and card several times over.
It is a money saver depending on where and when you travel.
That said there are places that if you stay for multiple days then the campsite discount can be cheaper than the Acsi rate. Plus there are sites I’ve used not part of acsi discount that are cheaper and better value than a nearby acsi site.
