Hi all would anyone know what I did to get besides a gas bottle lol.

The gas cabinet has the following:

Label states the connector is type 501 butane/propane

I presume I will need some sort of connector to fit the calor bottles here.

Any help appreciated as getting lost looking at all the regulators and connectors available

Looks like a calor Type F connection. Usually a Red bottle for Propane.

👍 Just screw on to Calor Propane 11kg bottle. The first time you connect check you get a good gas tight seal with a drop of water with some washing up liquid in it.

That connection is for a German bottle, while the thread is the same I'm not sure it will make a gas tight connection with an Irish bottle.
You might have to get One of these

Colin is correct, it probably would connect and make a seal. But you would be better off getting an irish one, which will have a bigger centre piece which locates into the bottle outlet.

A local gas ptoduct supplier should have one, or someone like Hamiltons

Just replace the existing pigtail, it’s a standard w20 on the regulator and a 21.8 LH thread at the bottle.

We keep the British & Irish ones if needed, just need to know the length required.

I bought a camper in Germany a number of years ago and found it a nuisance getting the German bottles filled. I fitted a Gaslow refillable bottle which connected directly to the German system, fantastic now when going abroad just have the filling adapter for the country you visit. The refilling is now about half the cost of of the original and being able to top up is a big advantage because you pay for the amount of gas you get. Best of luck.
