Heading to Newcastle in October for 3 days and really missing the Motorhome Parking app........What are the suggestions for parking in and around Newcastle. If no safe parking then what campsites would people recommend ?

On reading your post I clicked on the app and can still use it. It did ask if I wanted the premium version or the free version. I used the free version and it worked

There is a car park in the middle of the town where Motorhome parking is permitted , it would not be for me as cars park all around you.
Tollymore is much superior .
We have stayed in Millstone Caravan Park midway between Newcastle and Bloody Bridge, on coast road towards Annalong , look out as easy to pass it, sloping incline, easier approaching from Newcastle direction. Terraced up the drive.
Tullymore every time. It’s a good walk into Newcastle using the back gate and Tullybrannigan Rd. Bit of a climb coming back. The Enniskeen Country House is also a nice spot for a drink/meal. Millstone is a good site but not for walking into the town on the busy road. You would need a taxi.
