Help identifying window stays

Good afternoon all
Slowly but surely tackling any stuff that needs to be done on my recent purchase

Both the side windows are non functioning due to damaged window stays and I have tried superglue and other various repairs but nothing works. The problem is, there are no markings on the stays themselves, so for that reason I had put off replacing them.

Anyway, I have just removed one and they are a ratcheting type with no markings. The glass/plastic itself shows Roxite 80, but from Googling, I can't seem to find Roxite window stays / struts and wondering if they are maybe Seitz stays?

I don't care what brand I get as long as the hole centres line up and the catch is the same

The top hanger seems to be 24 or 25mm from centre to centre on the bracket and the bottom one on the glass seems to be 20mm centre to centre.

Did you wd40 the bejasus out of them to free them up?

Thsn once freed up a shot of silicone spray usually keeps them free,

Those are a pain. There is a little over arm mechanism that is spring loaded that goes in those.
Are they the type where you must open the window fully before they release to allow closure ?

No. Haven't even bothered with the WD40. Sorry. Should have explained more. Out of 4 arms, 3 of them are snapped off at the window end and the one that isn't broken, the ratchets don't seem to work. It just opens out fully and closes again

Have never even seen them operate, but I'm guessing they just push out and click at intervals where the ratchets are. 3 of 4 of them are broken at the handle and not even connected, so really I'd be happy to replace with ANY type of stay, just as long as the fittings matched for the screw holes. The small window at the rear has different stays. You just push the window out and tighten a wheel at whatever position you want. Something like that would be perfect

Thanks for the reply.
I tried all those alright and seems to pull up various different ones, so from what I can gather, the actual polyplastic window was made by Roxite and the 80 seems to be a reference to the tint on the windows.

It seems the stays are manufactured by other companies and I just thought maybe someone on here would be familiar with which brand they are, but I'll contact a few places and check dimensions and hopefully get sorted. Thanks again

Have you tried Derek Walsh Camper Centre at Kildimo, Co. Limerick. I think that he deals in these older windows and fittings.
