Anyone out there upgraded there crafter sprinter radio
The screen I my one is blank
So need an replacement
Is it better to get a radio with sat nav built in or have two separate systems
Having to take your eye off the road to glance at the screen if built in doesn’t appeal to me
Any thoughts welcome

I can't help you with the radio but I would get a separate sat nav, one that goes on the dash or phone (Sygic is a good one for the phone or tablet ) so you don't have to take your eye off the road to see it

Hi amethyst. I have a crafter. I thought about upgrade this year. I went for separate screen in the end. I use same as jjf, tablet with sat nav on it. The screen size of 21cm on my surface pro is a big help. Just back from a big week Europe trip and used Google maps perfectly well throughout.

Took a spin to the local garage
On the way I kept looking from the radio to the road
No this wont work; having to turn your head’ rather than just your eyes
Makes a huge difference
A split second but a lifetime if you hit someone, or something.
So opted for a tom tom tom go camper
One eye off the road is enough
Thanks for the replies

It takes practice....but it can be done. I've been sleeping with one eye open since 'Wives With Knives' first aired on CBS Reality. 😥
