I'm going to be in a few spots where it will be 30 degrees over the coming weeks. Have any of you experience being in the MH for a few weeks in these conditions?

I see some portable aircon units advertised. In reality I think they are just fans not air con units. But anyway, have any of you used these or have you been okay just leaving the windows open and the roof fans on in the MH?

We've been away in temps of 35+. Those cube type coolers are pretty useless unless you're sitting directly in front of one. We use a couple of 12" desk fans which will run perfectly off a small pure sine wave inverter if you don't have an ehu.
Other than that just relax in the shade of the awning with plenty of liquids by day and leave windows open, if safe to do so, by night.

I have found in the height of Spanish summers that the van can be unbearable during the day in the full sun, but very comfortable at night with the vents open. A fan would be a good addition to have a flow of air moving around the inside

Thanks lads, probably won't bother with one of those "air con" units so. I have extractor fans on the roof and two fans that circulate air. I'll probably head off, see how those go and I can always pick up a desk fan type of thing on the road if it's needed.

As well as having windows/skylights open , close your internal / external windscreen blind, like Winter keeps heat in, in summer keeps heat out. Awning out to keep heat off that side of MH.
flyscreens are great on door / windows to let draught through, and keep the flies out.
