Anybody know anywhere to park overnight in Moria.
I know the Soilderstown Rd car park but a bit far out at present as waiting on a heart bypass, so recitced a bit on the walking.

Only possible places are at the P&R at Moira train station or the overflow P&R at the Alchemy restaurant a couple of hundred metres from the station.

There is a height barrier at the supermarket.

The other location is a potential however it is in a residential area

Is there a reason you are using P4N and not motorhome parking ing app?

You’re probably better sticking to parking at the train station,it’s a small station ina small quiet town,Parkin the farthest corner away from the road

Used one of their stopovers in Bournemouth.£90 fine, no campervans or motorcycles, not really the apps fault, just the idiot that added it.

Any reason I can't use both ???
Motorhome parking app users know I have added quite a few parking spots over the years and reviews.

You could park at the public car park just off the Main Street, but not the overflow in the park as the gates get locked at night. I would let you park in my drive but I’m further out of the village than the train station and no public transport.

None whatsoever, I've never used P4N, so was interested if their sites are any better, different, in any way, in a specific area, from the point of view on an experienced user, since at this time I can't make the comparison myself.

I use it as I said above. Its great for the continent apparently, but I wouldn't know as never used it there yet, I use it in GB when needed. It doesn't have anywhere near what MPI has for Ireland, it also doesn't have the local reviews that MPI has. I'll be interested to hear what Augharan thought of the two spots near Moira that are on it.

I downloaded P4N to check it out, I like that there are photos of the spots in the review.

That was the plan with MPI amongst a lot more.

The new app will have photos. 👍

Been while since I studied P4N, here's what I found for Ireland and NI this morning when I did.

A lot of lay-bys by busy roads
Parking in Industrial Area's
Parking In Church car Parks
Parking in Motorway Services
Washing machines (makes the map look full)
Loads of spots with one star and not removed

I could go on.

The above are not what I am trying to achieve for Motorhome owners, nice spots, touristy spots, quiet spots, scenics places, when I get an industrial area sent in I remove it along with most on the list above, we could all popularise a map to make it look good, but surely quality is better than quantity in this case?

Would tend to agree that a lot of the P4N sites are marginal and many do not have any reviews
