Just back from a couple of nights in Dungarvan. On the first night the aire was full, likewise the three bays at the Lookout....so we were relieved (but surprised) to see the set-back area in front of the park was completely empty, in fact the whole area seemed unusually devoid of campers.
We parked up for the night as occasionally before, but on opening the door in the morning saw a big new sign tied to the lamp-post: No overnight parking of motorhomes.
So we moved off and parked in one of the regular 'car' spaces down by the Aire for the second night.
On past visits to the Lookout we've often commented on the crazy parking situation there, vans jammed in every possible space, including the bus bays and even up on the paved areas. Many with chairs and awnings out.
So it had to happen sooner or later, I guess sometimes we're our own worst enemies.
