Hi There,

Our dashboard display in our Dethleffs Fiat Ducato 2003 has gone haywire. Need to source another one to get fitted. Can anyone advise where we might find one ?
Many Thanks
Cathy

I’m not 100% sure but I recall something about the dash cluster containing part of the immobiliser… so may not be a simple swap.

There is a company in the UK that repairs those, but for the life of me I cannot recall their name.

In what way is it haywire. Certain issues can be fixed by disconnecting the loom connections for a few seconds.
A common problem is the temp gauge going to normal when the engine is cold, it's fixed by disconnecting it at the loom connection for a few seconds.

Thanks guys. It's haywire in the sense that the speedometer is not working at all anymore nor is the fuel gauge... always shows empty.

Any engine lights on the dash?

We had an issue last year. Red engine light. Speedo and fuel gauge not working. Turned out it was a common issue with an oil temp sensor that had blown and was causing an electrical fault. Replaced the section of pipe where the sensor is and all resolved.

We had it on a 2009 fiat and it was a bad engine battery!
