We had a look at this spot on Saturday.
Looks good and would be very quiet as it is off the main road with good access road.
We were told there may be another carpark further up Quay Road too.
From Downpatrick take the A25 Strangford Road towards Strangford.
After Quoile Road / Mearne Road cross roads the main road bends to the right but looks like it goes straight. The road straight on is Quay Road.
Take Quay Road and pass the Quoile Countryside Centre ( on your right)
Approximately 50 meters past on the lest is the carpark.

It has two entrances, driving through is not a problem.
Carpark could easily hold 10 motorhomes.
There is a great view of the river from anywhere in the carpark.
