Hi all I am looking at a 06 Eldiss Autostratus 510 motorhome tomorrow. I would appreciate any advice regarding any potential problems with them, it's a 2.8 Peugeot engine.

Previously we had a 640 kontiki for 19 years in spite of the leaky kontiki tag we never had a problem with it.

Every Motorhome has the potential to have a problem, the first thing I would be looking for is what kind of service history has been kept.
Next once you have had a look around and satisfied yourself that you are still interested then get someone with knowledge regarding moisture ingress and Motorhome service to accompany you to have an inspection carried out. This will be money well spent should you go ahead with the purchase, if a major problem is found then again it will be money well spent.
