When will some people learn?
A motorhome parking area need only provide a safe place to park and a services bay where grey and black water can be responsibly emptied and a freshwater tap to replenish the onboard tank.
The provision of water taps on each parking place, dishwashing facilities, toilets, and showers are absolutely not a requirement and EHU while nice to have is also not a basic requirement.
Given the above, it's little wonder that Bundoran Campers is shipping significant cost increases and being positioned in the realm of a Caravan and Camping Park.
No way should a Motorhome Parking Area be €25 p/n
There is a lot of sense in the old KISS principle, 'Keep It Simple Stupid'.
Yes prices have gone up but as many of you know my campsite has 18 pitches. We charge €25 for a motorhome 2 adults and 16 amp ehu. Showers €0 extra, rubbish €0 extra, WiFi €0 extra, dogs awnings €0 extra. We do charge €3 for a 10kg washing machine and dryers are also chargeable. We provide toilet roll, hand towels, hand soap, hot water washing up sinks.
And we will keep to these prices for this year as we are better off with a full campsite paying these prices than raising our prices and being half full.

Jamie i would say that your prices are cheap for the services that you provide and anyone looking for full campsite facilities will search hard to get better than yours, but Bundoran parking at 25euro a night is a complete rip off.
They are not even being honest with the public as anyone landing there will soon realise that some of the facilities that they state are on site are nowhere near.
It is a carpark which becomes part of the sunday market.
If you want to know how to run a campsite check out Strand Camping Doonbeg. If you want to know how not to run an Aires check out Bundoran Campers, which will be closing shortly due to lack of business.

There is a reason why you’re site consistently gets top marks on this and other websites.
A passion for what you do, an understanding what clients want, a personality to match and you both are on an unbeatable formula for success…… and deservedly so.
Weekend before last we were in-sea sessions,,,,so there is a new concrete bit added on to the far corner, professional tidy job to make more room for more vans, although it’s tight in that corner, you are definitely squeezed in ,there’s a new hedge planted across the car park to sort of separate the vans from the car boot sale noise on Sundays, now I’m still a bit of an apprentice at m/homeing campervanning but to me the most worrying thing is that there was 10 caravans in,I was told about the price rise by the man who runs the Aire who by the way is one helpful decent guy ,I told him in my opinion they’re right on the borderline stopping regular vanners stopping in,at 25 euros,I said you’ll get the whole tourist crowd but all year round vanners may think its a wee bit over, they were considered 30 euros,,I told him to tell the owners if it’s 30 I will not be back, and I’m not tight with money, just my opinion
Its the same with Henry in Kilfenane charging €20 and considered €25, and was concerned it was very quiet when it had been busy, I told him to get used to it being quiet charging €20 to park even when there is money left in the pub, people will only get caught once,
€10 in my opinion is plenty for the likes of Kilfenane & Bundoran,
