Hi foks. We always drive via channel tunnel to France. This year we are driving down A1(M). Has anyone ever stayed for a few hours at Scotch corner or Middleton Tyas? Neither show up on Park4Night...

I do not know these two services in particular, I may have stopped on one of our trips but I remember that typically the parking (controlled by cameras) is allowed for a maximum of two hours. Fines !!!
If you intend to stop more than two hours, you can do it by buying a permit at the shop.
But they usually have absurd prices.
