Sitting in the Aire at Evreux studying the map. Trying to work out the best destination to type in to get us past Paris so that we come out on the A5/E54. Suggestions from more experienced France travellers welcome!

Go toward chartres then head toward orleans on N125...its a good road. Then take A19...you can get onto A5 at Sens. It will be uncongested the whole way.

You really couldn't make this up!
Decided on a variant of Eirebus's route.....so....
Last night we couldn't get INTO the Aire at Evreux because the barrier wasn't reading anybody's Pass Etapes cards.
Tonight there's been a massive thunder and lightning storm over Milly la Foret and we can't get OUT of the Aire tomorrow because the power to the barrier has blown.
