Can anyone advise how to book 240v hook-up on Stena Line Rosslare Cherbourg?
I tried asking on the website, the chat-bot just keeps telling me they can't charge my electric car 🙄

PS On Irish Ferries we usually just ask for a window sign at check-in....

Tony I just tell the person at the kiosk that I need electric. They usually give you a card to put in your windscreen. Show it to the guys guiding you in. Hopefully they will put you close to the plug in or lead

On our last Irish Ferries trip, some fecker unplugged us and took the hook-up after we'd gone up. If we get one this time we'll hang around the van until the very last minute 😤

Don't rely on a hook up with Stena, plus there's alot of trucks on the ferry's these days

Point taken. We might take as little as possible in the fridge/freezer, and pack a few frozen bottles of water and some flat ice packs to keep the temperature down. A lot less hassle than running round trying to drag a cable behind you! ⚡

Or have a 40ton truck parked on it next morning, like one of my trips. why don't run your fridge freezer for 24 hours, then get a box of ice cube bags, fill and freeze them, stick some in both compartments,
Turn off the power, and don't open until the next day, check and see how long they stay frozen.

I guarantee if you add as many frozen bottles of water as you can to your fridge they will still be frozen and everything fresh at the end of the boat trip. Then use the water on your holiday.
