I am coming for one week-long (22-28/05) business trip to Dublin this May. My partner and I are planning our holidays right after 28/05, and we are thinking about driving around Ireland for two weeks with our motorhome. During the first week, we will be staying in a hotel in the centre of Dublin, but unfortunately, the hotel's parking has a height restriction of 2.6m (I guess like most parkings inside the city) so we would need to find another place where we could leave the motorhome for that week.
Our motorhome is 6m long, 3.3 high.
Could you recommend some reasonably priced and SAFE parking for the whole week in or close to Dublin?
I have found a few options but am not sure what would be the best:
- Dublin Port - 50 EUR per week but didn't confirm height restrictions https://www.dublinport.ie/tofrom/getting-around/
- Carrickmines P&R - very cheap but not sure about leaving the motorhome for one week unattended there: https://luas.ie/carrickmines-p-and-r.html
- Camac valley camping - 31 EUR per night (not sure if they have parking-only tariffs): http://www.camacvalley.com
