Anyone travelling in France conform to the regulations regarding breathalysers and full bulb set?
When I travelled solo on my motorbike I did, but can't remember doing it for cars or camper.

I don't think the breathalysers was ever enforced. The bulbs are only enforced in the instance of a bulb failure, it's not something that they do spot checks on.

I do, on the bulbs, high viz, warning triangle, in the car and M/H all the time. I just think it's a good idea.

Same for me, Breathalyzer was never enforced, also i don't mess with headlights just turn the beam down as i very rarely drive at night but do carry one of the Halford's headlight kits just in case. Never have been stopped in almost 20 years of going to France but now we are out of the EU and Macron doesn't like us will that all change, :-/ i will find out in June :o

Hi vis and spare bulbs, and dig out the old breathalyser from my bike days lol.

I know some people don't bother with the beam benders, but I've seen holiday vehicles being directed into the side, after the passport check in Roscoff, and instructed to fit them.
And contrary to what Aaron suggested on a recent podcast, you don't have to have the high viz over the back of the seat, but you have to have one for every passenger, to put on before getting out of the vehicle, if broken down.

But the headlights on to heat the lense, get behind an edge with the likes of a credit card, nothing sharp, white spirits or WD on a soft cloth for any stick left behind.

Ours is LHD, I fitted beam benders for the first CVRT when it was introduced here. Made the mistake of leaving them on for a year, the adhesive ate into the plastic headlamp lenses.
Removed most of the damage with Solvol Autosol, but some damage still visible.
Now they're always fitted the morning of the test and removed in the afternoon.

I hope you don't have dough full accedent at nigh, because they are suppose to be fitted full time when driving the van here, also you are not road legal, so where does that leave your Insurance.?

I use headlight covers and stick the black bit of tape on that. I have read that the glue on any tape damages plastic lens

The high viz vests come off quite easily. You should be ok.
