Considering, recent conversations about down plating 3850kg M/H and how to do this, an obvious answer to me is, to remove the drop down bed altogether, brackets the lot, particularly with a French or rear bed A class, I think most of them have an ULW around 3420kg so the bed would be equivalent to your payload,
But,has anyone go an idea what the whole things, weight is?
The next thing would be the spare wheel, how many people ever changed one, or even could do it.?

Not sure about the bed but I had a spare on my last van but not on this one, only a pump and bottle of goo. Having changed a flat tyre on a motorhome I have vowed never to attempt it at the side of a road but to call the breakdown service as the supplied jack is only just up to the job and in my opinion dangerous. So, get an electric pump which will inflate to the desired pressure and a bottle or two of tyreweld type stuff and ditch the spare to the garage at home.

That's what my Pilote has, a high pressure compressor and a sealer.

I’ve changed a tyre on the last motorhome, spare was hung on a bracket underneath.
Not much more difficult than a car, though a trolley jack would have made it easier.
Did it while waiting for breakdown service to arrive. He still hadn’t left to come to our aid when we rang to cancel.
