Has anyone changed a fuse in an inverter. My inverter has stopped working and the alarm sounds, have googled it and found this could be an internal fuse.

Yes.
Usually 3 x 30a blade fuses on the board near the input cable. They’ll be held in with bonding over the top. Ironically enough it’s usually a short on the high voltage side that pops them,
