I have visited there a number of times and always used the car park, I always thought that section should have been for the fishermen and not for motorhome parking.
The same story as Dunfanaghy too many in one place and inappropriate parking leads to areas being lost.
We just have to keep trying to educate everyone even if they are not members on here or not of two things, 1. Join this forum for the best advice and information and 2. If too many parked move on, there is always somewhere else to park, dont spoil it for everyone
I saw that location (Round-O) being abused by motorhomers for quite a while now and there is a great motorhome stopeover not very far away from there,but the reason some of those people will not use it is because it is not free.
I do not feel one bit sorry for them being kicked out of there.
The mentality of some Motorhomers,purchase a Motorhome tax and insure it then blag everything else for free.
I hate the term " we are our own worst enemy". Because we are not,the ones who ruin it for everyone.
We are not the inconsiderate, b******s, who park where they like, and when stopped, then feck off to find somewhere else to spoil. All the time muttering and spouting, on
" Social Media" about how badly they are treated by Locals and Councils.
I don't like to be lumped in with that lot.
Let's face it they are "our worst enemy" and should be called out at every opportunity.
