Hoping someone can help. My motorhome is due it's first CVRT next January (2023). Is is possible to arrange a test as early as September 22? I'm aware this may change subsequent test dates to September and would be happy with this. It is unclear on the CVRT website whether or not this is available to motorhomes as all references are for commercial vehicles.
I've contacted the CVRT office in Galway but have not received an answer.
TIA.

You can do the test 1 month in advance without affecting the date due , MH and commercial are no different for test ,I doubt they've been asked to do a test 3 months early so they probably don't have an answer, will probably have to go to a committee and up to senior management 😂

Not a 100% sure, but I think it can't be booked for than a month before the due date.

Thanks for your help.

I asked the question. They will take a booking at any time before it's due, but that, will be the date, you will have going forward, to keep the current due date, you can only book within one Month in advance.
She could not give me a definitive answer on a new camper for its first test, without having the reg. but does think, you would get a two year date in September 2024 for the next one. If you want to pm the reg Ill ask when I'm getting Matilda 2, done next week.or call them yourself and ask Her to find the answer for you. ( 051 )421 403 option 3.

Sprinter, thanks very much for taking the trouble to make the call. Much appreciated. That's the answer I was hoping for. I'll call the number you've quoted in the morning and give them my reg no.

Thanks to everyone who replied and offered advice 👍.
