It would be really interesting to see how many motorhomers on here carry fire blankets and fire extinguishers with them when out traveling?
Would not be without mine.

I always do, on both accounts 👍although I'm not particularly happy where the manufacturers fitted the extinguisher, so I will fit another one.

Closed on 5th April @ midnight 😩

Anybody got a source for the extinguisher that discharges for 50 seconds that are supposed to be the biz but cost around £60. I can’t remember the name but I’ll have a hunt.

The one thing I didnt know was that extinguishers have a type of use by date and may fail to work beyond that, so they either need checked/maintained or replaced on a regular basis

I think your local fire station will check them for free

@sprinter
Pretty impressive I’ve copied a video from your link above. My experience of extinguishers is they deplete very quickly.

You should include it in the batch when the office or factory/store are being given their yearly test.

There could be a new supplier for the Fire Stick in Dublin in the near future,If he gets a franchise, he will let us know here.

I have a brother in the rallying scene so he’s going to have a mooch.
My insurance with Flux insists on an up to date and serviced extinguisher so one of these should last for 15 yrs

These look good and would save a bit of weight. I weighted the 2 I have and they are 8kg total.
